I’ll be honest: I really, really wanted this little bovine to become a woven throw blanket.

I was so happy to read that so many of you wanted to have her in your homes. It was such a great feeling knowing that! ❤️‍🔥

Sadly (or maybe not so sadly), she didn’t make the final 30...

One thing I learned for sure from this art competition is that my style is nowhere near what they were looking for. 😅

Anyway, I’m still grateful to Slowdown Studio for the opportunity, because I’m sure this design might never have been born without this competition. So thank you for the motivation!

In the meantime, you can get this udderly abstract cow as a print from GoodMood .

And here’s where I need your help!

I’d love to explore the possibility of turning her into a woven throw blanket someday. If you know a cool, independent brand with a great vibe that you think might be a good fit for a creative collaboration, feel free to tag them in the comments! Who knows, maybe something wonderful could come out of it. 🤗

Here is my entry for

One of the main things I wanted was for the design to work no matter how the throw is placed, on a bed, a chair, or just casually thrown somewhere, so that whatever part of it is showing still feels like an interesting little burst of colour.

And it’s a cow. I mean, who doesn’t like cows???

One of the three logo variations I made for a client who runs a small organic homestead.

Once I finished this one, I couldn’t unsee it… it looked a little too much like a gingerbread house. 🫚🍞🏠

Instagram seems to prefer Reels anyway, so obviously, I had to make a little animation out of it.
I tried my best. 😅

Two cows were recently reported to have rabies in a village near mine.

There hasn’t been a case of rabies in the county for ten years, so this really caught my attention.

We usually associate rabies with predators or wild animals, but I started wondering: how scary would a rabid cow be?

So I made this. Just something to think about. 🐄🤔

I’ve been wanting to turn this one into a print for a while now. Hope you guys like it too! 🙌🐓🙌
