A visual identity developed for another passion project ✌️

Bytes & Batches is a company that develops and publishes mobile games for iOS and Android platforms. Their target audience are employees that resonate with their friendly, open, and playful personality.

We created a mascot and used its shapes to develop and speak the brand's character. We opted for a thick sans-serif font that would level and complement the playfulness of the icon. 👾

Time to bring to light another project of ours. 💡

REFINED Lifestyle is a company that sells online fitness and nutrition coaching. Their main target audience is people that don’t have time or feel intimidated to go to the gym and want to have a better life.

We opted for a serif font with minimal modifications for the wordmark. Then, we developed a series of variations to be used on different materials. We developed a visual identity consisting of logo design, typography, colour palette, icons pack, photography direction, and possible designs for t-shirt merchandise and product packaging.

We kind of took our time in creating this post, but it’s time to say “hello!” and introduce ourselves and Layout Nine to the world.

We are Mădălina and Dragoș, family and business partners 😁, and, in short, we create graphic design materials based on companies’ brand strategies and business needs.

Sounds a bit abstract? We’ll be more clear in the next posts regarding what we actually do.
