Finally got around to uploading my Dab tool organizer to Thingiverse. It's free and designed to print on the Elegoo Mars with no supports! There are other organizers on Thingiverse and while they're alright I've made something that takes up less space and has quite a few quality of life upgrades I haven't seen before.

This is a video of the model for "The DABLAB" V3.

While I loved the dab caddie it had some major issues, with version 3 I think I've solved most of these issues and added a few of my own improvements.

-replaced the two Y shaped sticks that acted as a dabber holder (and led to your dabber falling on the ground any time you moved it) and replaced them with two penholder style holders that take up much less space and result in very sturdy hold on the up to two dabbers.

-the dab caddie had a very large new qtip reservoir but a very tiny used tip rseptacle, which lead to having to empty the used tips far more often. I copied the new tip reservoir dimensions from the dab caddie and used them to make my own reservoir but at the same time I made a receptacle the same size so you don't have to empty the used tips quite so often. Ideally you will be able to empty the receptacle and fill the reservoir at the same time.

-the dab caddie has two conical carb cap holders that work well but caps can roll off from time to time. I replaced the two conical holders with two hollow cylinders. Not only can they hold carb caps but the inner dimensions of the cylinders are 19mm so you can also use them to hold 18mm bangers, bowls or what have you.

-its not pictured here but you can see in the video. Version 3 has text on the bottom (although I'm gonna change it to the Sliced Bread for marketing reasons). It additionally had a holder for small glass vials that can be used to store IPA (isopropyl acohol). You can dip the q tips in the vial before cleaning your banger and it makes for a much cleaner banger and extends the lifespan of the banger tremendously. Pics of V3 up by 6am at latest.

The dab caddie was a big hit but two things about it left me unsatisfied. First being it wasn't my design. Secondly there were a lot of things that could have been done better. So I have taken it upon myself to create my own tab tool station "The DABLAB." I have pictures of V1 and V2 shared below. The one with the really tall cylinder is V1, the one that has the two large circles is V2. V3 is at home on the printer so no pictures yet.

First resin print since changing my FEP. Happy with the quality but there is some detail lost from removing the supports. This model was actually scaled down to about 1/5 of its size maybe less. I origionally tried printing it all in parts (didn't work because I rushed it). And removing the failed print in a hurry is what caused my FEP failure. Now that I have lots of film and vats I'm gonna work on printing the full size one soon. As for now I have my first resin dab station printing which I'm pretty excited to see in clear orange.

Poked a hole in my FEP last week. Got a bunch of replacement FEP and extra vats this week so the Mars is back up and running + there should be less down time in the future :)

Working on custom Xbox one controller faceplates. Havnt perfected printing them on the mars yet but even if I don't I will be able to easily print them when the phenom comes

Some times the supports look prettier than the prints :) this one won't be done for about 45 minutes but I won't be home for 10 hours so no finished pic till tomorrow
