ps the community understand the concepts of statistics and their applications in everyone’s business. In fact, in 2011 eight students from level II of Applied Statistics at the National University of Rwanda (NUR) initiated a group aimed to help their classmates understand various modules that seemed difficult for them. But, beyond the group’s ambition, training on the use of statistical software packages was introduced. The group’s initiative that was already become popular, it was welcomed by the Applied Statistics Students’ Association (ASSA-NUR) due to awareness of the lack of skills in the use of important statistical software packages that was challenging its elder members at the labour market.
