Agaseke Online is a social enterprise developed by Global Humanitarian and Development Foundation (GHDF), a Rwandan based NGO whose vision is to enable a better world through the empowerment of vulnerable communities and promotion of self-reliance for sustainable development. The purpose of the Agaseke Online website is to develop new markets for the local artisans, hence supporting their economic

empowerment. Agaseke Online offers the possibility for people who live far away to purchase the beautiful products handcrafted by these individuals (or cooperatives) and have a direct impact on breaking the cycle of poverty. The profits from these transactions are invested in additional financial education trainings, vocational trainings and supporting the creation of small and medium enterprises in the communities
