Some more unexpected news.

The Árstraumur website has been given three awards at CSS Design Awards, voted by the public: Best UI Design, Best UX Design and Best Innovation. The judges added a Special Kudos on top of that.

The site is a real-time solar system. The planets are where they actually are right now, the daylight falling on Earth matches the real clock, and it opens with one unbroken zoom from my street in Gävle out into orbit. Every section of the site parks at a different world.

It was never meant to be a portfolio piece. It was meant to be a place where my music could live.
