Walkman 🎧 Even though I've not had the honor of owning this device, and it was released more than ten years before I was born, I felt that I had to include this revolutionary device in my "Tech Tones" series. In 1979 there was finally a smaller portable music player, and it also had a headphone jack, allowing you to listen to your music privately.

The theme of the competition was ”Beloved Pets,” so I instantly knew that I was going for cats. However, I wanted my design to have an abstract, minimalistic feeling rather than a cute one, and this was the result.

During my childhood, I dedicated considerable time to playing video games, and among my favorite consoles was the Game Boy, cherished for its portability—it enabled me to carry my gaming adventures wherever I ventured.
