"For as long as I can remember, music has been a necessity for me. I can't live without it.
It has always been my way of coping with life's curveballs, and I believe it is the only reason I'm still on this earth.
Since I was 6, I've had violent thoughts and a need for silence.
My upbringing and my choices gifted me with that.
Rap and artists I looked up to saved my life.
At age 12, I heard my first rap song by Lil Wayne called Bill Gates.
The metaphors, the double entendres, the imagery, and the feeling I got from listening to this music, were unlike anything I had ever felt.
Until I went out and experienced it.
Ever since, I've been writing rap with an insatiable appetite for more.
Hip-hop and rap are primarily the genre assigned to me and how I self-identify, but I hear the influences of soul, rock, and classical music in my work.
My style is a new wave of rap music. And my story needs to be shared to uplift and empower people worldwide.
Or at least that's what somebody told me.
