Today, on International Women’s Day, we want to shed light on the fact that we need more women in top management positions. In 2022, women held 32% of top leadership positions, according to Grand Thornton’s 2022 Women in Business report, which is an increase from 31% in 2021. It’s great to see that we are moving in the right direction, but businesses still can and must do better!

🔵 Why do you think it’s important to have more women in top management positions?
We live in a world where the consumers are both men and women, having the same representation in the organization brings great results. Men and women are equal, but a mix of social conditioning and biological evolution has resulted in differences in thinking, problem solving etc. and such differences are fantastic as they bring better perspective towards any problem of business, sales or people management. It’s important that companies recognize this strength and work towards a more gender balanced organization.

“Winning the prize wasn’t half as exciting as doing the work itself.”
Indra Nooyi- former chief executive officer at PepsiCo:
“The best way to get a seat at the table is to pull up a chair.”
