New branding for Stockholm 1897, an all-day destination at Djurgården. Restaurant, bakery, café and sauna in one. From breakfast to dinner, it celebrates Swedish flavors with a modern twist, proudly offering classics and future favorites in the making.

Busy and exciting times at Söderhavet!

Lots of new projects starting up, which means we’re looking for a Brand Designer to join our team in Stockholm on freelance or short-term basis.

You are someone who
• Moves effortlessly between concept and craft
• Knows when to collaborate and when to challenge
• Has a refined eye and a restless curiosity
• Understands the value of a great idea and how brand strategy informs design
• Brings energy, clarity and care to every detail
• Is Figma fluent
• Has 5+ years of experience with top-tier brand agencies or studios
• Is a digital native (we rarely design for print)

This is an on-site role: we believe the best ideas happen when we work side by side.
You’ll collaborate closely with our designers, strategists and motion designer to help shape what’s next.

We’ve got ourselves a new space!
A few months ago we moved into an old bicycle workshop in Vasastan. It’s our studio now. And sometimes a gallery. Here we want art, design, architecture and food to cross paths and spark ideas that grow in unexpected meetings. More to come soon.

This year we’ve had the privilege of working with Winn Hotel Group, Villa Klint, Burgsvik Group, Ekerö Bostäder, SCB, Rove, KTH Ventures and Toborrow (just to name a few). We’re truly grateful for that. More case studies are on the way — we’ve just been busy making them happen first. Now we’re taking a short summer break, but keep an eye out in August.
