âWe covered a marathon and a fourthâMe and .hallgren were texting last Wednesday and said that it would be fun to run for 12 hours without any practice.
So we decided to do it on the weekend (Sunday). That was all the âpreparationâ we did for the runâŠ(And we bought a lot of )
But we learned the hard way that maybe we should have been more prepared. We noticed things already started to hurt when we had 10 whole hours left.
And even more when we had 8 hours left. And the pain just kept on increasing.
But we kept on running/walking.We thought we were COMPLETELY finished after 4 hours!!!
But we kept running! We reached 6 hours and thought that we wouldnât be able to run again, especially not for 6 more hours.
But we did it anyway. Either way, we made it, we covered 54km. (I think would be proud)
For reference, a marathon is 42 km.
Thatâs also the main takeaway from this challenge. Iâm not saying this to sound cool, I just want everyone to realize how much our bodyâs and minds are capable of.
But I think itâs something you wonât fully understand until you put yourself in that position when you think you are completely finished but then realize you have only spent 1/3 of your energy.
I donât think I would have made it alone, without .hallgren Thatâs also the power of a community with likeminded people. Alex is one of the members in my community and also a friend of mine. And thatâs the kind of men we have in there.
The ones who are willing to run for 12 hours even though the longest distance they have ever ran was 7,5km. The community is called âTop 1% Manâ for a reason. So if you want to connect with people like me and Alex and become the top 1% man in all aspects of lifeâŠComment âTop1â and I will send you a free invite in your DMs. Stay hard!
