New work – Making Waves for

For centuries, Sweden has been a country of innovation. From engineering breakthroughs like the implantable pacemaker to social innovations such as shared parental leave. To highlight this strong legacy, the Swedish postal service PostNord has released a series of five international stamps, each depicting a Swedish innovation that has made waves far beyond our borders.

The challenge for our designers was to find a common visual language for five innovations that are more or less abstract. The solution was to zoom out – finding a coherent language that could encapsulate them all – and then zoom back in, adding small figurative details that hint at each specific innovation.

Designed to travel far.

New work! Brand strategy and design for Inventure – Ignite the Few, to Accelerate the Many.

Many talk boldly. But only a scarce bunch dare to walk the talk. Inventure is one of those rare firms that turn words into action. They back the few — and when they do, they go all in. Because true imagination doesn’t just build companies. It makes life better for all of us.

Ignition and acceleration became the cornerstones of the logotype. The first part sparks. The second races forward, tilting upward with momentum. But an identity is more than a logo. Headlines were designed as vessels of acceleration, pushing into a brighter future. Colours and gradients nod to the flame — the spark that sets everything in motion. The result: an identity that dares to win.

A Century of Sporty Types

Most athletes dream of seeing their names in the papers. But when Bragdguldet – Sweden’s most prestigious sports award, founded by Svenska Dagbladet – turned 100, the Swedish postal service PostNord chose a different stage. Five athletes who have won the award twice were honored, not in bronze, but on something both everyday and unexpected: the postage stamp. And honestly – who wouldn’t want to send a love letter with their favorite athlete, drawn entirely in type?

01. Insight
For a century, the Bragdguldet award has celebrated athletes who have fought their way back from difficult and precarious situations. Founded and run by the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, it is considered the most prestigious honor a Swedish athlete can receive. To mark its 100th anniversary, the Swedish postal service PostNord commissioned a series of postage stamps, accompanied by bonus materials for the true enthusiasts – the philatelists.

02. Concept
An award with a legacy like Bragdguldet deserved a design that honored both its long history and the athletes it celebrates. Only a select few have received the award twice: Björn Borg, Ingemar Stenmark, Anja Pärson, Sarah Sjöström, and most recently Armand Duplantis. To unite the worlds of sports and journalism, each athlete was portrayed using nothing but letters.

03. Solution
A stamp is a tiny canvas, which meant the design had to be distilled to the very essence of each athlete. The challenge was to capture their most iconic movements – and render them entirely in typography. More specifically, the very letters taken from the newspaper announcing their victories, turning the design into a journey through a century of typographic history. The final series of stamps is accompanied by exclusive bonus material created for the most dedicated collectors.
