This week we held a fullday hands-on workshop on the art of Immersive Content and Storytelling, specifically tailored for educators. Thanks for having us Edtech Flen!👓🌐

We explored practical techniques, discussed considerations for new formats, and showcased our award-winning work through VR-headsets and our VR-cinema setup that allows for synchronized showings. 🚀

Our work regarding climate change in the Arctic won a UNESCO-designated XR award last week at VRINN awards in Hamar, Norway. The WebXR-story transports you to the island of Qikiqtaruk (also called Herschel Island) in the Canadian Arctic, and lets you experience first-hand how a whole island is subjected to rapid change and is even slowly dissappearing in to the ocean because of the effects of climate change. This is the second big win for this experience.

The project is also nominated in the upcoming AIXR prize at VRDays Foundation.

The project was led by Jeff Kerby, Isla Myers-Smith of TeamShrub and IVARs co-founder Martin Edström together with Richard Gordon at Yukon Parks and Annika Trimble at Aurora Research Institute. Our team at IVAR has been in the middle of it all to create the 3D-renderings and WebXR-components to make it come together.

We are happy to announce that our film "Sagarmatha Next" won the "Transforming Society Short Film Award" at the tve Global Sustainability Films Awards this week.🏆♻️🌏

Sagarmatha Next deserves all the recoginition its getting, and we are proud and humbled to receive this award. The film has so far been nominated in over 10 film festivals, and won several awards. 🙏

Last week we attended the Stereopsia Europe XR event in Brussels. We were part of the booster programme for new projects, great to have the opportunity to connect with our fellow participants in the booster program.

Exciting to see so many innovative projects, including our own Nordic Glaciers, come to life in the XR space. 🥽

We are finally live with our work for Sagarmatha Next. This project has been our longest, going on since the start of 2017. Sagarmatha Next finally opened last year, and all of our work for them is live. 🇳🇵🙏

We've produced their 11 minute introduction film, digital exhibtion content, the physical exhibition and VR-content and hardware for the center. 📺🥽💻

What incredible progress we've had this year! Not only have we doubled our revenue, but our team has also grown to be its biggest yet, and we've produced incredible content for a wide variety of clients. 2022 has been our strongest year yet and we're so proud of what our team has accomplished. 🤩🚀
