REMOTE FARMS | WORLD PREMIERE IN ITALY
I had the privilege of presenting the World Premiere of Remote Farms at the 21st Vicoli Corti Cinema Festival in Massafra, Italy.
The days I spent at the festival were genuinely special. From the very beginning, the warmth, professionalism and generosity of the Vicoli Corti team made us feel incredibly welcome. Their communication, care and attention throughout the festival created an experience that is difficult to capture in just a few words.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to the entire Vicoli Corti team, Amnesty International Italia, and the jury for selecting Remote Farms for the Human Rights section and giving the film the opportunity to reach such a large, engaged and responsive audience.
What made the world premiere on August 19 particularly meaningful was the extraordinary response from the audience. Sharing the film with them, hearing their reactions and having the opportunity to exchange a few words afterwards made the evening even more special.
I also want to thank everyone behind Remote Farms, our teams and collaborators in Sweden, Norway, and especially Cameroon. Their dedication, trust and hard work are an essential part of this film, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring it to the screen.
And finally, thank you to everyone who came to watch Remote Farms and became part of its first public screening.
