This pattern will always have a special place in my heart. It was my very first surface pattern design, created 16 years ago while I was studying fashion design. I still love it today 💫

1. Gold printed on royal blue cotton
2. 23 year old me, in the middle of the printing process
3. The original sketches
4. Screen printed on black linen
5. A few finished fabrics
6. Testing another colourway
7. Blue and gold, still one of my favorite color combos
8. A new digital version of the pattern, bringing an old design into the present ☺️

Pattern Vilda is built around quiet moments in the woods: animals peeking out, resting, wandering through the landscape. I imagine it as a calm forest scene where everything is happening at once, if you take a closer look. ☺️

I love working this way, balancing a soft overall rhythm with lots of small, playful details. The more you look, the more there is to discover.

Do you spot a favorite? 🐻🦊🐇

Available for licensing and collaborations!

Pattern Lingonberry started with some simple paper cut shapes inspired by one of my favorite things in the world: berry picking!

Working with paper has also quickly become one of my favorite ways to create. There is something special about letting go a little and allowing the material to guide the process. The edges turn out imperfect, the shapes shift and somehow that is where things start to come alive.

If you tend to be a perfectionist like me, try working with something you cannot fully control. It might feel uncomfortable at first but that is often where the magic happens ☺️

From €0.50 IKEA boxes to little pieces of joy ✂️☺️

I wrapped these simple storage boxes in fabrics from my Jewelry Box collection for and it’s such a reminder of how much pattern can change the feeling of an everyday object!

As creatives, we don’t always need big projects to make something meaningful. Sometimes it’s just about playing with color, texture, and print and letting materials we love take the lead.

If you’re into fabric, pattern, and small transformations like this, I hope this sparks an idea for your next project 💛

Inspired by the quiet magic of the forest floor, Pattern Miso captures the feeling of blooms unfolding beneath towering pines, where light filters softly and nature grows in its own gentle rhythm.

This design began as hand-cut paper shapes, layered and arranged to echo the organic movement of woodland plants, branching forms, scattered petals, and hidden clusters you might only notice if you slow down and look closely.

If you love botanical patterns, forest-inspired design, or handcrafted textures, Pattern Miso was made for you. ☺️
