Her Rise Above started as a grassroots organisation. As it grew into a registered charity: Rise and Thrive - it needed a website and brand to match: something that would say more with less, and represent the organisation with the professionalism its journey had earned.

So the new version didn't add more, it gave everything a system. One color language. One rhythm of bands and cards. One clear path for every visitor to follow.

It also had to work harder for the community it serves, like the SHOP LOCAL Directory, which lets visitors browse by area or category and instantly find local Risers.

That's the real lesson in this redesign: good design isn't about having more content, it's about giving your content a place to belong.

I started The Emms 10 years ago in Singapore. Today, I am based in Guelph, Canada. From our 2 locations, we serve clients across Canada, the US, Singapore and beyond.
