Global mental health professionals do not need to choose between growth and ethics.
That is a false choice. And it costs practices that believe it an enormous amount.
Trust is the primary driver of the decision to book a therapist, across every market research has looked at. Marketing that is transparent, culturally informed, and built on genuine value exchange does not slow that trust-building. It accelerates it.
The mistake most practices make when growing internationally is importing a marketing playbook built for one culture and applying it everywhere. Messaging that empowers clients in individualist markets can feel alienating in collectivist ones. What works in New York does not automatically work in Nairobi or Singapore or São Paulo.
Our latest blog is about what ethical, culturally intelligent marketing actually looks like for mental health professionals building practices that cross borders.
