โฌœ๏ธ Most people think luxury branding is about expensive colours, premium materials or elegant typography

Those things matter, but one of the most powerful design elements is something many people overlook: ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ

Take a closer look at brands like Hermรจs, Loewe and The Row

Their websites, campaigns and product photography rarely feel crowded but instead, they leave room for each element to breathe

๐—ช๐—ต๐˜†? Because white space does more than make a design look clean
It directs attention, creates hierarchy and quietly communicates confidence

Luxury brands don't try to say everything at once

They focus on ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด, and giving it the space to be noticed

Sometimes, the most powerful design decision is knowing ๐˜„๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜

Often, it's not just because of the product itself

It's because scarcity changes the way we perceive value

When something is only available for a short time or in limited quantities, it creates anticipation, sparks conversation and makes ownership feel more meaningful

But scarcity isn't a shortcut

A "limited edition" only works when people already see value in what you're offering. Without strong branding, quality or storytelling, limiting supply alone won't create demand

The lesson for brands? Focus on building desire first. Scarcity should amplify value, not replace it

What's a limited-edition release you still remember? ๐Ÿ‘€

๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŽจ Sometimes, the best colour palettes are found in nature โœจ

From the calming greens of a forest to the warm hues of a sunset, nature has long inspired some of the world's most memorable brands and visual identities

Every colour tells a different story:
๐ŸŒŠ Ocean blues evoke trust and serenity
๐ŸŒฟ Forest greens suggest growth and sustainability
๐ŸŒ… Sunset tones bring warmth, energy and optimism
๐Ÿœ๏ธ Earthy neutrals create a sense of calm, authenticity and timelessness

The next time you're building a brand or designing a campaign, look beyond the screen. Inspiration might just be outside your window

Which palette speaks to you the most? ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿค– AI can generate content

But it can't replace genuine human connection.

As AI tools become more accessible, our feeds are filling up with AI-generated images, videos and captions. Ironically, that's exactly why authentic, human-led content is becoming more valuable.

Instagram Head Adam Mosseri recently shared that as AI-generated content becomes more common, audiences will place greater value on creators and brands that feel real.

For businesses, this isn't a reason to avoid AI, itโ€™s a reminder to use it intentionally.

Use AI to streamline your workflow.
Use your people, stories and experiences to build trust.

Because at the end of the day, customers don't just connect with content.

They connect with people.

๐Ÿค” Ever wondered why so many memorable slogans, speeches and marketing messages come in threes?

Because our brains love patterns ๐Ÿง โœจ

The "Rule of Three" is a communication principle that makes information easier to process, remember and repeat. It's why brands often highlight three key benefits instead of ten, and why some of the world's most recognisable phrases are built around three simple ideas.

The next time you're writing a caption, pitching a client or designing a campaign, challenge yourself to answer one question:

If your audience could only remember three things, what would they be?

Sometimes, saying less makes people remember more!

๐Ÿ–ค Quiet luxury isn't defined by logos, it's defined by restraint.

Think muted tones, timeless typography, natural materials and thoughtful composition. Every element is carefully considered, creating a sense of confidence without demanding attention.

When designing for premium brands, luxury isn't about adding more. It's about knowing what to leave out.

This moodboard captures some of the visual cues that make a brand feel refined:
โœจ Earthy, understated colour palettes
โœจ Rich, tactile materials
โœจ Elegant typography
โœจ Editorial-inspired photography

Because sometimes, the most memorable brands are the ones that don't need to shout.

What luxury aesthetic should we explore next?

Because over the years, Apple has built something far more valuable than a promotion. It built perception.

Through consistent branding, thoughtful product design and an ecosystem people trust, Apple has created demand without relying heavily on discounts.

This doesn't mean discounts are bad. For many businesses, they're an effective way to drive short-term sales. But if discounts become the only reason customers buy from you, it may be worth asking a bigger question:

The strongest brands compete on value before they compete on price.

Abel Richard is selling handbags starting at US$85,000 with some pieces priced as high as US$1.1 million! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคฏ
How is this even possible? ๐Ÿ‘€

The answer isnโ€™t louder marketing or long explanations ๐Ÿ“ฃ
Luxury doesnโ€™t justify its price. It doesnโ€™t need to.

By limiting explanations, reducing noise, and letting scarcity and craftsmanship speak for themselves, luxury brands shift the conversation from cost to desire โœจ
The price becomes a signal, not a point of debate ๐ŸŽฏ

For brands looking to elevate perception, the lesson is clear:
clarity of positioning matters more than persuasion. When your brand knows exactly who itโ€™s for, price stops being something you defend and starts becoming something that filters ๐Ÿšชโœจ

๐Ÿ“Œ๐ŸŽจ Welcome to our Design Series, where we break down trending visual styles you should know!

#2: Trinkets!

Did you know some visuals are designed to make your eyes wander around the whole graphic?

Instead of spotlighting just one product, the visual is filled with lots of mini objects, icons, and little details. Your eyes jump from one thing to another.. almost like a tiny visual treasure hunt ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿ”

It's fun, chaotic (in a good way), and super scroll-stopping! ๐Ÿคฉ
