๐ต About the Ensemble
Founded in 2018 by Ms. Leonie Ki, who is deeply passionate about Dunhuang culture, with the support of dizi and xiao maestro Dr. Ricky Yeung, the ensemble comprises two composers and eight musicians.
Through academic research and artistic interpretation of ancient Dunhuang music, they recreate and enliven musical scenes from over a thousand years ago depicted in the Dunhuang grotto murals โ promoting and preserving the rich heritage of Dunhuang art and culture ๐จโจ
