Strategic Marine is pleased to announce the signing of the Protocol of Delivery and Acceptance (PODA) with Mainprize Offshore for MO15 and MO16 vessel, further cementing the strong collaboration between the two companies in advancing offshore renewables fleet capability.

This PODA signing builds on the multiโ€‘vessel contract agreed at Seawork 2024, Europeโ€™s largest onโ€‘water commercial marine and workboat exhibition, and follows the successful delivery of MO10, MO11. As well as the first two MO12 and MO14 Supa Swath vessels delivered earlier in the year. MO15 and MO16 represents the next step in Mainprize Offshoreโ€™s fleet expansion strategy, with Strategic Marine continuing to deliver highโ€‘quality, purposeโ€‘built vessels to meet the demands of offshore wind operations across Europe.

โ€œDIAMOND GAS JADE,โ€ a 174,000 m3 Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carrier invested by a joint venture under U-Ming Marine Transport Corp., held its grand naming ceremony on May 19 at the Samsung Heavy Industries Geoje Shipyard. The ceremony concluded with great success. Built by Samsung Heavy Industries, the vessel is equipped with the latest energy-saving environmental technologies and a dual-fuel propulsion engine. Upon delivery, it will commence long-term LNG transportation operations supporting global energy logistics.

U-Ming Marine stated that focusing on LNG transportation through the establishment of a joint venture not only reflects the companyโ€™s firm commitment to green shipping and net-zero transformation but also serves as a critical step in implementing its diversified business strategy. The commissioning of this first LNG carrier symbolizes U-Mingโ€™s official entry into the energy transportation sector, laying a vital foundation for participating in the global energy transition.

Strategic Marine, a leading builder of high-performance aluminium vessels, has signed shipbuilding contracts with Mainprize Offshore for two new 33 metre Supa Swath crew transfer vessels (CTVs), further strengthening a long-standing partnership between the two companies.

The new order builds on a successful track record of deliveries between Strategic Marine and Mainprize Offshore, bringing the total number of Supa Swath vessels delivered and on order to 10. The continued collaboration reflects Mainprize Offshoreโ€™s confidence in the Supa Swath design and Strategic Marineโ€™s ability to deliver reliable, high-performance vessels for offshore wind operations. Mainprize Offshore currently operates 11 vessels.

Strategic Marine, a leading builder of high-performance aluminium vessels, has launched a new yacht support vessel designed exclusively for the pleasure craft sector in collaboration with MAG Subsea Pte Ltd and Southerly Designs Pty Ltd. The vessel is engineered to extend the range, capability, and safety of superyacht expeditions worldwide, marking the companyโ€™s entry into the luxury yachting sector.

The timing of this launch reflects broader momentum across the sector. The global superyacht market is estimated to be valued at USD 24.04 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach USD 50.86 billion by 2033, driven by rising global population of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and sustained demand for premium vessels. Notably, the 40- to 80-metre segment is expected to account for more than 47% of the market share in 2026 โ€“ the most common and versatile size range of yacht support vessels. This growth is corroborated by global brokerage activity โ€“ sales rose around 20% in 2025, with 470 superyachts sold compared to 391 the previous year, reflecting steady demand across the sector.
