30 – Happy . As we hit this milestone together, I can’t help but reflect on the whirlwind of the past year and the incredible journey we’ve shared. From the unexpected joy of welcoming our third child to the challenges and triumphs of stepping into the role of a design educator – every moment has defined us. 🔥

This morning, amidst the chaos of getting the kids ready and the rush to our children’s year-end performance, I saw something magical. Jordan and Laurel, in their little costumes, dancing with unbridled joy. It made every struggle worthwhile, realizing how proud we are of them and, more importantly, how proud they are of themselves. ❤️

Our day didn’t follow the conventional birthday script. No sleep-ins or child-free moments, but a picnic at Marina Barrage with our community. The day was a testament to the beautiful chaos of our life – a life filled with love, laughter, and the constant juggling act of parenting. 😵‍💫

As we officially enter our thirties, I marvel at the life we’ve built – three children, a loving family, and the impact we’re making individually and together. The next decade holds even greater , and I can’t wait to see what adventures unfold.✨

To my wife; mother of two (soon three), and spiritual mom to many, .

Just this year alone we’ve had so many milestones, with my new role at TP being one of them. It is not unbeknownst to me that the reason why I can succeed is because of your strength & capacity. You’re the pillar of the house where everyone leans on.

As you celebrate your fourth Mother’s Day, I’m thankful that Jordan, Laurel, Canaan & I get to experience the blessing you have been to us.

Congratulations to Judah & Melody — Glad we could be part of your special day. Our kids were the ones that stepped on the aisle, talked at the worship, rolled on the floor & cried at the speeches. Yet everything went beautifully — the beautiful scenery, awesome atmosphere & touching speeches helped a lot.

Three oranges? What could that possibly mean? – Yes, we’re announcing a new 人 that will join our family! 🍊🍊🍊 Jordan & Laurel will have a new sibling this year!

I can’t ask for a more emphatic & helpful big brother. Moments like our flight from Japan where Jordan switched the screen off for the babies to sleep, or the past few days where he assisted me in feeding his little sister medicine, are priceless moments of emotional maturity. Sometimes I wonder why Laurel was so active from birth & fiercely independent till the point she gets angry when she doesn’t get to feed herself, but now I’m thankful for her cheeriness & dependability.

While I must say, I’m a little surprised, but I trust God’s perfect timing. We’re set up for success & while I can’t ask for anything more, I know He’s set up great things for us ahead.

Just only four years ago we exchanged our vows before God & men. Who could have predicted the journey we would take from the altar. Our bodies, minds & spirits went through joys & trials like no other. When we wavered physically & emotionally, God strengthen us in His love.

This year we’ll be a year of advancement — as we contend not just for ourselves but for many people & situations, I believe that we’ll witness & testify of His goodness. No longer shall we waver, but wage war against the enemy.

Our dating life has officially become a teenager — 13 merriversaries together. This year, our motto has been “living our best life” & true enough we’ve been doing just that. Looking at just the past few weeks we spent two weeks in Japan & sent Laurel to infant care all whilst embracing my new work + increased responsibilities in your career.

For sure, it hasn’t been all highs, yet I know because we’ve built each other up & the people around us — the lows hasn’t been that difficult. Truly, there’s no one else like you (except Jordan) & I’m glad to do life with you. Through the storms, impossible situations & the joyful moments, I’m thankful that it’s with you.

More than 330+ hours parenting abroad. Holiday in Japan meant blisters, high stress feeding, packing/unpacking/repacking, double p**p duties & more. We don’t deserve such love & support from you — love you .

29 — what a year it has been & how fast it has passed. Acing as a mom of two, this year instead have been filled with many stretching moments in other areas. You’ve been juggling an intense workload, all the sickness in the family (even right now) & chores, all while obeying what God every step of the way. Tiring to say the least, many moments of discouragements where you had to dig deep!

Amidst the rigour, you’ve still put our family’s well-being above your own. Gone are the overnight board games & supper sessions that are now late night work & pastoral sessions.

I’m so blessed to have you in my life & to celebrate 13 birthdays together as a couple. So many things to say, but the most important thing is that “I love you” — happy birthday .

Fresh out of the Army in 2015, I started Fantastic because I started to get projects. However, I wondered if my career would just be a series of bigger & cooler projects. Come 2020, stuck in lockdown, the dream festered & I listed down a few things that, like a dream, I forgot.

Long story short, recently Temasek Polytechnic approached me to be part of their Communication Design team. Monday, I step into that dream — I’m beginning my teaching journey as an adjunct lecturer in TP. After my week long induction programme, I’ll be working this semester with third year students on their FYP.

Through it all, I’m thankful that Joey not only stood by my side but believed me *the surprise AirPods Pro helps too*. All this isn’t possible without our His favour, our families & church community.
