Something I keep seeing in the financial advisory industry bothers me.
Financial advisors who are genuinely good at what they do, knowledgeable, caring, competent, still struggling to get clients to trust them. Still feeling like they have to push, persuade, follow up one too many times.
I don't think that's a skill problem. I think it's a positioning problem.
The industry has trained advisors to sell. To close. To hit numbers. And so that's the energy clients feel when they walk into a seminar or pick up the phone... they sense the agenda before you even open your mouth. It poisons everything, even when your intentions are completely genuine.
When my business partner and I left our holding company, we chose to build differently. Not helping agencies sell harder but helping them become the most trusted voice in the room.
The way we do that is through education events. Designed not to pitch, but to genuinely shift how an audience thinks. When that happens, clients come in curious instead of guarded. They ask to work with you instead of waiting to be convinced.
We're building what we believe will be Singapore's leading education studio for financial advisory firms.
If you're tired of being lumped in with every other advisor and want to understand how education-led events work as a business system, book a 30-minute call with me.
