Can I share something I've noticed?
The moment we decide we want more from our lives, something interesting happens.
We assume the hardest part will be figuring out what to do. But usually that's not the hard part. Most people know what they want. They know they need to be more visible, trust themselves more, make the offer, speak up, stop hiding...
The hard part is becoming the kind of person who can hold that new reality.
Because every time we try to grow, we're also leaving behind an old identity: the version of us that played small, stayed safe, and waited for certainty.
And that can feel surprisingly uncomfortable.
I've started to think that growth isn't really about learning something new. It's about staying with the discomfort of becoming someone new.
And honestly, I think that's why so many people feel lonely in the middle of change. Not because they're doing anything wrong, but because there's so much happening on the inside while there's still very little evidence of it on the outside. No real results yet. Not much to show for all the inner work that's taking place.
This has been a big conversation behind the scenes for Rachel Tamilio and me lately. We've been asking ourselves: What kind of space would actually support women through the reality of becoming?
Not the theory.
The reality.
More on that very soon.
