Most SaaS websites don’t fail because the product is bad.
They fail because they’re unclear.
In this video, I walk through a simple example (Freshdesk) and show how even big companies fall into the same pattern — vague messaging that could apply to anyone.
The problem isn’t always obvious.
It shows up in small moments:
→ someone checking your site mid-demo
→ an investor trying to understand what you do
→ a potential hire forming a first impression
And if it doesn’t click fast… they move on.
I also break down a simple way to fix this. Nothing complicated, just a clearer way to say what you actually do and why it matters.
Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it feels like this still has more impact than most people assume.
Curious what you think.
