My photo editing essentials 📷

To take photos I use my Sony A7R mk. III. I used to take photos on my trips or hikes. You can follow my second profile where I recommend trips and places from Slovakia here:

As my memory cards I use Sandisk Pro line 128GB cards. It gives me lot of space for my photos and you can buy them for optimal price.

When I want to edit any of my photos I personally recommend Lightroom Classic and Lightroom CC. When you want to apply some masks or selective edits I recommend to edit your photos on iPad. Here you can see how I edit some photos in Lightroom CC on my 11” iPad Pro.

As my all-around lens I use Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8. It’s quite light and fast lens so you can use it for travel photography, city explorations or for hiking as well. With f/2.8 you can shoot night sky from tripod as well. You can buy it approx. for 800€. Generally it’s perfect and sharp lens and you can buy it much cheaper than 24-70mm f/2.8 from Sony (but it has slightly better results and sharper corners).

As my second lens I use Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8. Personally I use it for landscape photography because it’s quite fast and light lens.

In the future I would like to buy any tele lens – Sony 70-200mm f/4 or f/2.8 or something similar from other manufacturer. 😊

Corona time! 😏

But, we are still working. All of us at have switched to remote work. So we can still work and deliver mobile and web solutions to our clients.

For me, there are positive things as well. I can be more with family, I have more free time because I don’t have to travel between home and office and finally I had enough time to clean up my desk.

How we work as team remotely?

We communicate mostly via Mattermost (clone of Slack with less features but you don’t have to pay for it). Every morning we have standups to review progress and schedule work day. Then we work or we have remote meetings with team members or clients as well.

Tomorrow we will have our regular design team meeting to present what we’ve done in last couple of days. Also every thursday at 4:30PM we have all hands meeting in our company where we share company news to everybody in our team.

Generally it works well. I didn’t find any big misunderstandings or productivity issues to these days, so keep it up!

I hope that corona situation here in Europe will be better in next weeks, but for now you can still work with us on remote basis. 🤘👨🏼‍💻
