Some of you know me well. Some of you are meeting me for the first time. So let me reintroduce myself.

I’m Pamella Haruna, based in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Today I’m the Marketing and Communications Manager at Startup Bodyshop (LBD Group), and the Show Manager for the Life By Design Show. I’m also the founder of SABINest Hub an EdTech Company and , Sierra Leone’s flagship youth technology competition for primary school children.

Everything I do points to one mission: closing the digital divide in Sierra Leone and across West Africa.

My journey wasn’t a straight line. It ran through a hotel reception desk, a supermarket, a classroom, a tech training centre and a pitch stage.

Over the next four weeks I’ll share it:

From the very first day I held you, I knew you were something special. Watching you grow from a tiny baby into the beautiful, remarkable lady you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life and I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it.

I have poured my heart into nurturing you, and every day I look at you I am reminded that it was all worth it. You are my little gem, my pride, and my joy.

On your birthday my love, I want you to celebrate fully and boldly because you deserve every bit of it. More than anything, I pray that you continue to live a life that is beautiful in the sight of God, full of purpose, peace, and everything your heart desires.

I love you deeply Tima, and I mean it with everything in me when I say I will always protect you, guard you, and be in your corner today and for the rest of my life. Happy birthday my darling. 🥳🎂💛
