​During this election season, let’s stop the "silent" campaigning. If a candidate is talking on WhatsApp or Facebook video without captions or a Sign Language interpreter, they are ignoring thousands of Sierra Leonean voters.

​To all candidates: If you want our vote, make sure we can HEAR your message through our eyes!

​✅ Sign Language on stage.
✅ Captions on campaign videos.
✅ Respect at the polling station.
​Share this if you believe in a Sierra Leone where NO ONE is left out! ✊🇸🇱

Salone democracy belongs to all of us! 🇸🇱🤟

​As we look toward the 2026 - 2028 elections, we must ensure our Deaf brothers and sisters are not left behind.

We are calling on the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) and all political parties to:
​📢 Provide Sign Language Interpreters at all public rallies and on SLBC TV broadcasts.

📜 Produce voter education materials in visual and easy-to-read formats.

🗳️ Train polling assistants at centers from Freetown to to all the provinces on how to respect and assist Deaf and all disability voters.

​Communication is a human right. Let’s make our "Paopa" or "Tolongbo" or any political message accessible to EVERYONE!
