๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฑ ๐ ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐ต served as Sierra Leone Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education from ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ต ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฏ, during which he played a key role in implementing the government's Free Quality School Education (FQSE) programme. The initiative expanded access to education for thousands of pupils across the country and sought to reduce barriers to learning.
During his tenure, the Ministry introduced curriculum reforms aimed at promoting critical thinking, creativity, civic responsibility, and digital literacy among students. Dr. Sengeh also championed the use of technology in education, including digital data systems and school mapping, to improve planning and service delivery in the sector.
Under his leadership, Sierra Leone strengthened remote learning initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic through radio and other platforms to ensure continuity in education. He also advocated for inclusive education policies supporting girls, children with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups, earning recognition for his innovative approach to education reform.
