Law student Edwina Hawa Jamiru has reacted strongly to the University of Sierra Leoneβs decision to rusticate her from Fourah Bay College (FBC), Faculty of Law. She has rejected the decision, describing it as an injustice and insisting that she should not be rusticated during the 2026/2027 academic year.
In her response, Jamiru alleged that the universityβs action was connected to Justice Momoh Jah Stevens. She further argued that if the matter was related to the judge, he should be removed from the judiciary. She also stated that she was not willing to forgive him, expressing her determination to stand by her position.
Jamiru emphasized that she wants to continue her education so she can build a better future and take care of her child. Her response comes after the university announced her rustication over alleged insulting and disrespectful posts directed at the Dean of the Faculty of Law
