We used to think diabetes primarily affected older people—until we had the opportunity to work with Dr. Bintu Mansaray on her children’s health series, including the impactful book titled My Body's Little Buddy. Through this project, Amie and the Safe Keepers Project, we learned about type 1 diabetes in children and the importance of educating both parents and kids on this condition. This understanding helped us create illustrations that effectively communicate the message to young readers and their families.

Over a year now, we’ve had the opportunity to work with the ILCU International Development Foundation, handling the design and printing of their credit union handbook, brochure, poster, and calendar. This collaboration began when the remarkable Gillian Hunt discovered our work online and reached out.

Known for her love of handcrafted artistry, Dr. Kamara entrusted us with designing and printing unique, handcrafted invitation and ticket for this unforgettable event.

We were truly thrilled by how seamlessly everything came together! Dr. Kamara was amazed, asking, “How did you guys do it?”

During a recent visit to Sierra Leone, Gillian Hunt from the Foundation met with the New Salone Women Design Limited team. This Sierra Leonean women-owned design company has designed work for the credit unions in Sierra Leone, including a leaflet on the Graduation Microfinance (GMF) programme, and also kindly donated a calendar they designed and printed that was shared with credit unions throughout Sierra Leone.

The calendar was designed as an educational tool for the Graduation Micro Finance Programme and donated to the ILCU International Development Foundation by New Salone Woman Organization

The ILCUF team in Sierra Leone recently worked alongside New Salone Woman Design. This Sierra Leonean women-owned design company has designed work for the credit unions in Sierra Leone, including a leaflet on the Graduation Microfinance (GMF) programme.

While working with them, The New Salone Woman Design Limited kindly donated a calendar they designed and printed using images from the Graduation Microfinance (GMF) programme, which will be shared with credit unions throughout Sierra Leone.
