Today marks the end of the middle of the year.
What life has been worth thanking Allah for, and keep on trying to make the little change.
The battle is against you and your old self, and with no one else.
Adopt the formula of asking Allah first for whatever you want or intend to do, take the necessary actions that would bring results, make use of people or contacts, and keep praying.
When Allah gives you that thing you have been praying for, never forget to be grateful to him, and the people who made it possible.
Find inner peace and connect with family and loved ones.
In a world full of deceit and turmoil, never forget to find peace with yourself and share it with others.
Do not take advantage of the weak, help those who need help, and start doing what you have been procrastinating.
I thank Allah for all that has been happening to me. The good and challenging times are all that conspired to make me a better person.
May the rest of the remaining half of the year be as blissful and life-changing as we all expect.

There are many good youths out there if you care to make example from. Some have graduated, some have just matriculated, some are in universities and other learning institutions, some are in trade, some are working to make hands meet in a legit way. Many of the good ones who are trying are ignored and denied of opportunities and left to perform miracles on their way to actualizing a dream or their passion. Please, whenever you want to talk about youths, ask how many of the ones in the right path you have helped in actualizing their potentials. We all know the answer. Before you continue wasting your time in criticising the few who are victims of circumstances, convert that time and resources to help those who are close in realizing their potentials. When the good ones are many, your worries about where are the young suckers when the old banana dies would be too much to eat and to spare.

I take my head as a cloud
Its sky is blue and it hangs with no pillars.
The sun rises and sets in it
At night, the moon and stars lit in an independent fashion.
They say the old sheep's eyes only see the sky after it has been slaughtered.
Today, I dare to look into my head as my eyes into the sky.
I found what words cannot say in a go
I will tell you what I see
And that is all you know about me.

I COULD REMEMBER

I realize I could not conquer my wants.
The harder I try, the unrealistic it gets.

I could remember when all I wanted was just a little favour.
I keep wanting the next little thing on to the next big chase.

I could remember that after I got it, i feel I never wanted it.
The thirst from my unmet needs
The appetite of my desires
So accustom to winning
I was caged, and all I needed was the pain of unachieved wants to get freedom.

I could remember that my ambitions were not just to achieve a goal.
I could not just stand and feel idle when others celebrate.
And even when I win
I wish the crowd of celebration could be bigger, but just with few winners.

To all my achievements
I felt at that time I could not be without them.
And now I feel more alive without the things I needed badly.
That feeling of incompleteness in desiring the appetite of success is a lust that pushes one to the edge of dissatisfaction.

I could remember now
All the things I did not get and achieve made me strong and better.
I still could remember
All what I lost made me look for a better future.
I could be remembered for what I got
But I am made from what i lost.
