Dr. Samura Kamara's calm demeanour and inclusive approach are exactly what our country needs at this time of divisive politics.

He does not regard the current administration as adversaries because he believes in the tenets of a “Wan Nation”. In truth, Sierra Leone needs this right now.

We will make a deliberate choice to reject the vices of tribalism, corruption, and human rights violations.

The SLPP government has neither designed nor implemented a single youth initiative with well-thought-out, forward and backward links with other sectors.

The youth space has been littered with small short-term programs, projects that do not contribute enough to youth productivity, and temporary interventions with faulty targeting and performance control methods.

Youth programmes should not be created on the fly or be ad-hoc, impulsive and triggered by knee-jerk reactions.

Solutions to youth problems must be inclusive, coordinated, and connected. This boosts buy-in and increases ownership.
