A United States federal court is continuing to press the FBI and DEA to release long-withheld records tied to a 1990s drug-trafficking investigation that once named Nigerian President Bola Tinubu.

The files were requested under freedom-of-information law by American activist Aaron Greenspan and journalist David Hundeyin, who sued after the agencies refused to hand them over.

Judge Beryl Howell has repeatedly ordered the agencies to release non-exempt records, sharply criticising them for missing a string of court deadlines.

The case stems from a Chicago he**in investigation and a 1993 forfeiture in which Tinubu surrendered $460,000, though he was never charged with any crime.

Tinubu has consistently and firmly denied any involvement in drug trafficking, dismissing the decades-old allegations.

What’s good my people! Let’s gist about the biggest Mavin news shaking the industry right now 👇

CRAYON VS MAVIN: THE BREAKUP RUMORS
Earlier this year, Mavin’s own *Crayon* [Charles Chukwu] set social media on fire.

After dropping his new single *‘Baami’* under Olodum Entertainment with _zero_ Mavins branding, he went on X and dragged the label and he alleged Mavin "$200 million, no give me a penny
That they were delaying his payments tomake him suffer,He also accused labelmate Rema of stealing his star ✨
even posted: _"Mavin is going down!!!!!!"_ and _"Rema for the next 100 years no feature"_
The timing had people talking because it came right after his new single dropped. As of now, neither Crayon nor Mavin has officially confirmed if he’s left, but he changed his booking email and bio.
DON JAZZY FINALLY RESPONDS
42 days ago, Don Jazzy addressed the "Mavin sidelines artists" talk in a YouTube with Crea8torium
His words were
"The idea that we'll have people and not want to prioritise them is not a real thing. When we sign artists, we want to make money from those artists"
He said leaving an artist dormant would be _"like taking money and throwing it away"
On artists who release less music:
_"If you see an artist in Mavin and the artist only releases one or two songs in a year, just know that it is the artist that decided that"_. He blamed imposter syndrome, not the label.
This came after fans kept questioning Mavin’s treatment of artists.
