Banadir Training Institute (BTI) is a vocational training based in Mogadishu. BTI is an integral to social and economic growth as it develops skilled professionals and technicians that fulfill growing and modernizing labor market needs.
𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬:
The Admin and Finance manager will be responsible for both financial and administrative works of the BTI. The major financial duties and responsibilities will include accounting software, software operation, reporting and documentation, cash flow/fund management, compliance etc. Administrative duties and responsibilities are to conduct works related to general financial administration, assets management, coordination, procurement function, inventory management etc.
𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦:
A. Accounting
• Lead account and administration department in the project
• Finance reports, book keeping
• Collect, check, register and keep track of all order forms, incoming and outgoing invoices, Travel claims according to BTI internal procedures
• Make cash and bank reconciliation every month
• Prepare payroll of staffs monthly by coordinating with the center Manager
• Lead project audit done by donor as well as organizational audit annually
• Prepare monthly financial report by first week of succeeding month
• Track activity level budgets and call for financial monthly review meetings
• Maintain cost effectiveness and keep track of budget allocation as per activities
• Complete daily financial transaction under the supervision of Project Manager
• Oversee preparation and submission of the monthly financial expenditure reports.
𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦:
• University degree (Bachelor) in Accounting, Finance, Business /Public Administration or relevant field.
• At least 5years of experience working in the sector of Admin and finance management.
• Excellent computer software skills in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software (QBs accounting software is preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with fluency in English and Somali are required.
• Knowledge of TVET policies and procedures preferred.
SKILLS:
• Excellent management and organizational skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and computer skills, especially spreadsheet and financial analysis.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and show initiative.

The monthly salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
