Job teaches us that true faith does not depend on blessings, but on trusting God even in suffering.
When everything was taken from him — his possessions, family, and health — Job still chose to worship God. He did not understand why he suffered, yet he remained faithful. In the end, God restored him and blessed him more than before.

This reminds believers that trials are not the end of God’s story. Sometimes God allows struggles to strengthen our faith, teach us perseverance, and draw us closer to Him. What we lose in pain, God can restore in His perfect time.

Life will bring seasons of loss and hardship, but like Job, we are called to keep trusting and worshipping God. The Lord sees our faithfulness in trials, and after the suffering comes His comfort, restoration, and peace. God may not always remove the trial immediately, but He never abandons His people.

Lord, blind me—not from the truth, not from Your Word, and not from the people You have called me to love, but from everything that pulls my heart away from You.

Blind me from distractions that make things look more important than eternal things. Blind me from chasing money, popularity, pleasure, recognition, and approval when You are calling me to pursue holiness, obedience, and purpose.

Blind me from comparing my life with others. When I begin looking at what they have, remind me that my journey is in Your hands. Keep my eyes fixed on You, because comparison can make me forget the blessings before me.

Blind me from relationships that weaken my faith. Give me wisdom to recognize what looks good but leads me away from Your will. Teach me to let go of anything that keeps me comfortable in sin but uncomfortable in Your presence.

Blind me from the noise of this world when it becomes louder than Your voice. When social media, opinions, entertainment, fear, anger, or ambition consume my attention, draw me back into prayer. Teach me to choose Your presence over distraction.

Lord, I do not want to spend my life looking everywhere except toward You. I want my eyes fixed on Your purpose, my heart surrendered to Your will, and my steps guided by Your Word.

If something is distracting me from becoming who You called me to be, give me courage to release it. If something is replacing You in my heart, expose it. If something is pulling me away from Your presence, give me strength to walk away.

Blind me, Lord, from every distraction that competes with Your will—so clearly that I can see only what matters: You, Your Kingdom, Your truth, and the purpose You have placed in my life. Amen.

Serving God is not a burden it is a privilege and a blessing.”

Serving God is not something believers do because they are forced—it is something they do because they love the Lord and are thankful for His grace and salvation. When we serve God through prayer, ministry, helping others, and sharing the Gospel, our lives gain meaning and eternal value.

Sometimes service may require sacrifice, time, and effort, but God gives strength, joy, and peace to those who serve Him faithfully. What may seem difficult at times becomes a blessing because we are working for the One who saved us and promises eternal rewards. Truly, serving God is both an honor and a privilege. 🙏

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”
