Finally, Wan Thaloeng Sok is here, marking the first day of the new year. Today is the final day of Songkran and the Thai New Year’s Day and there will continue to be held celebrations in many parts of the country. There will be several festive events, and offerings are left at temples to ring in the New Year!

Traditionally Thai Buddhists begin the Songkran celebration with merit-making in the morning. Monks bless the people to have a good new year, and they are offered food. After the ceremony is finished everyone feast together.

Songkran’s soggy festivities mark the much-anticipated Thai New Year, rightly celebrated in the hottest part of the year with lots and lots of water. Get excited, and get ready! Songkran is wet, wild and ridiculous. As with most things, Thais celebrate their new year in a “go big or go home” fashion.

New Nordic Group

At Condominium 3 this week we have been working on the roof structure, installed the PVC tube for wires in the building, as well as plastered the 1st-floor walls.

At Villa plot 29 we have completed the roofing and wall plastering, as well as begun the plastering of the pool. The ceiling work is moving along and should be completed soon.
Over at villa plot 31, we have completed the roof structure and are working on plastering the walls and have begun working on the pool structure.

New Nordic Group

On Condominium 3 we have worked on the roof structure and installed the PVC tube for wiring in the building. At Villa Plot 29 we have now finished the roof tiling and wall plastering, and are continuing with the working on the ceiling and plastering of the pool. At Villa plot 31 we finished the work on the roof structure and continued with ceiling work and bricklaying on the second floor.

Coral Beach Chumphon is a short ten-minute drive from Chumphon airport, there are three arriving flight from Bangkok daily. Furthermore, if you are arriving by train, the Pathio translation is no more than fifteen minutes away!
Either way, the New Nordic destination is easy to access, and easy to enjoy!
