Climbing 1,260 stairs for this view had me feeling like a super hero!🦸🏽‍♀️

This hike was seriously gruelling but the breeze at the top was oh so refreshing 🌬️

This temple rests atop a cave where a tiger once lived, hence its name 🐯 in sacred places like these, one must dress respectfully. Shorts are ok but shoulders must be covered (which makes the hike up even more difficult lol)

This spot is a must-see in Krabi Town 😍

If you do what you've always done, you will continue to get what you've always gotten❕

Coming to Asia was a deep dive for me; sure it was scary to hop on a plane headed to the other side of the world with few plans; jumping into a culture I knew very little about; going somewhere I can't speak the language to communicate with people.. the list goes on honestly 🤯

But in just the 5 days I've been here, my mind has been absolutely blown. The landscape constantly leaves me speechless, and we have already met some awesome people from all over the world 🌍

Putting myself into such an unfamiliar situation has forced me to shift my perspective, and grow many different ways 🌱

Living your life on autopilot will not get you to where you want to go; you have to take the wheel and drive yourself 🛞

It starts with recognizing that something needs to change, and taking the plunge 🌀

Happy Valentine's Day/ pre-wedding honeymoon 🤍

Our plans are always anything but conventional; we decided to finally take action on our dream to visit Southeast Asia together 👊🏽

The best part is, we just bought a house a month ago, yet are still able to take this trip and do all the things we are hoping to do 😊

It's all part of the plan, and although it's been a long journey, we are finally reaping the rewards of all our hard work and dedication 🥰

After the trip, we come home to get married and then will be moving across the country to our new home 🏡

Just goes to show what you can achieve with a little drive and dedication!

Cheers to our next 32 days in this magical continent ✨

pov : the most stubborn beagle actually cooperates for photos 😍

Seriously though, how beautiful is my dog? 🧡

In 1 1/2 days I fly across the country for 34 days 🤯 this is my first time travelling internationally; I've had awesome opportunities to travel a lot within Canada, but I've never been on a flight that's more than 4.5hrs long 🤣

It's going to be really hard to leave my pup behind.. she is in good hands staying at a familiar place with her grandpawrents. I'm probably gonna miss her more than she'll miss me tbh lol

We have so many exciting things in store this year; 2024 is gonna be a big one! Stay tuned if you wanna see more of Maya and our adventures🐾

It's Groundhog Day!!

Our friendly neighborhood rodent, Wiarton Willie, slept in this morning and woke up to bring us news of an early spring 🌼

Hopefully an early spring (did we even get winter though?) will bring more sunshine 🌞 These past few months although snowless, have been so overcast and grey..

I know I'm not the only one the lack of sun has taken a toll on; definitely spent the last couple of months struggling with my mental health and overall well-being ❤️‍🩹

But we're finally seeing the light at the end of the Winter Solstice tunnel! Give yourself a pat on the back for making it through the grey season ☁️
