No more Covid-Restrictions; what does this mean for the economy?

Over 2 years ago, the news of a virus spreading itself globally portrayed itself on each TV, but; now, after some time of hardship, how will this affect our lives? The economy certainly took a hit after during the pandemic; business, tourists destination, small business owners, and everything in between took a hard hit, but now there is finally light; because of international travel becoming available again, the tourist and hospitality industries will see a steep price in income upcoming months, same goes for the international export business which is finally able to comfortably operate.

This is good news and will certainly bring back a comfortable living style for most nationals.

How the Edgerunners anime saved Cyberpunk 2077.

To say CDPR (CD Project Red)had a disastrous launch with cyberpunk is an understatement; through the launch period, the infamous development team tried to fix and adjust the game, even going so far as to pull it completely from last-generation consoles. But, after the release of the Netflix anime ‘’Edgerunners,” the company saw a spike in the player base like never before, even breaking their own release date record. The hype and success primarily come from the fact that the Netflix anime is received very well and blew curiosity in a whole new demographic.

On Twitter alone, Cyberpunk has a manager to dominate the trending lists for a week straight, and in a positive light too! Som**hing that could not be said about the initial launch of the base game. Hopefully, this motivates the developers to further improve on the game and create content that might keep even the most dedicated choo,s under us entertained for months to come!

Becoming bullet resistant, is it possible?

A Canadian who wishes to stay anonymous claims he had an epiphany while adjusting to the temperature within his bathtub. He swears that it is possible by starting to shoot himself with a BB gun, building it up to a pellet gun, where eventually, he will shoot himself in the leg. After sharing his thoughts on a message board named 4chan, people quickly jumped to encourage him. Over a period of time, the unknown individual shared his progress and was deemed to make a leap forwards to the eventual goal of becoming bulletproof.

After a year and a half, the unknown man finally felt comfortable aiming the barrel of a real gun towards his leg at the exact spot he had been shooting other objects. Everyone with a grain of common sense, ofcourse, knew that the unknown man shot himself in the foot, only to be hospitalized later.

Ethics in Journalism: Hinder or Improve?

Ethics do improve the relationship between the audience and journalists, which would furthermore improve the journalistic efficiency a media outlet could provide, this would include following moral ethics among the likes of providing truthful information, not purplerosy writing or causing harm towards your subjects/sources, avoiding bribery and corruption and always own up to the content you write and/or create.

Providing truthful information includes multiple aspects like always checking your facts otherwise some information might be lost in translation, misunderstood and unintentionally misinform your audience. Although the opportunity to correct your writing is possible, mostly because of relevancy, the majority would not see or read the correction and it becomes too late. This ethical aspect is important since it does not only reflect on the outlet you would work/write for but also because in journalism, you often rely on your own brand which you create, which could possibly be tarnished by easily avoidable mistakes.

Not purposely causing harm, this seems quite common right? But often it is done without having the knowledge only after it is too late. Often you work with sources which you would only use one time, other days you would work with a source for multiple days, weeks, months or even years. It is important to always respect the sources, it’s privacy and demands on which you would release the information provided. Not only to keep a stable and good relationship with the source, but in some cases also the safety of the source itself. A good example would be some independent journalists naming translators with american ties during the take-over of Kabul, unaware that this could result in prosecution by the taliban. This would also give credibility and reliability to you and the outlet you work for to possibly have sources reach out to you easier in the future.

''... like out of a movie'' Witness says.

Birmingham, Alabama - 5th of December 2012. Avery and Charles, A couple who have been on a killing spree to satisfy their sexual needs, has been arrested between the hour of twelve and one midnight. Police tracked the couple down to their farm on the outskirts of the bustling city after a series of young students went missing around the Birmingham area. The arrest was led by Officer Micheal Smith after a crucial piece of evidence, the glasses of one of the missing students was found near the estate where the couple resided.

Avery, who was known in the area as a passionate and determined caretaker, shared her life with Charles who practiced taxidermy and was known among local hunters as a strange individual but a master at his craft. The couple both shared an intense fe**sh for necrophilia and mutually decided during [est. date?] to kidnap, murder, and in some cases torture local students up to the age of 21. After various reports of students going missing in the area, the local police took quick notes. The residue found on the victims hinted towards the use of a rope and duct tape for the abductions which eventually led to their early arrest. Through the months, both Avery and Charles miraculously managed to keep a low profile, which is surprising according to the local authorities because of the violent nature of their crime but, after finding the pink shaded ray ban glasses near the estate, the couple successful murder spree came to a halt making their latest victim the last. It did not take long for the police to receive a search warrant for the estate although the gruesome details of what they found within the walls of the house is shocking to say the least. Amelia Van D**e, the spokeswoman for the Birmingham police department stated that the basement was decorated with the taxidermied corpses of all the recent victims, analysis of the young students and evidence found on the scene determined they were used for sexual pleasure and DNA of both Avery and Charles was found on each and every victim. Soon after the shocking discovery both were placed under arrest, Micheal Smith noted that both Charles and Avery remained calm and collected through the whole process and managed to stay silent till a lawyer arrived at the station.

The couple has shared the intense passion for one another since they met, this was during a shower of The Evil Dead 2 at the local theater. Neighbors and coworkers stated that both did not show any signs of violence prior to the arrest and only Charles was described ‘odd’.

DULF, figthing drugs with drugs.

DULF (Drug User Liberation Front) was Co-Founded by Eris Nyx (She/Her), someone who has worked in homeless shelters most of her early life observed an increase in people dying when in 2016 fentanyl was supplied and mixed with he**in in Vancouver. Eris further explains how she experienced death on a daily basis just by overdoses, stating that an estimated ten people a week would drop dead from a fentanyl-related overdose, keeping the body functioning for sometimes up to twenty minutes before paramedics arrived. Having death on display made her take action in 2018 and join the government in an effort to stop the deaths caused by the opioid crisis only to be met with criticism because of the ‘’unethical’’ solution Eris provided. Advocating for a supply of clean and safe substances was not the solution the government was looking for. according to state officials, this was outside the domain and would go against certain policies set in place where Eris replied, and in her own words, with
‘’F**k you, F**k you, F**k you’’
which led to her being fired and so DULF was formed.

The co-founder took measures in her own hands with Jeremey Kalicum (He/Him) purely to prevent people from dying, realizing very well that the opioid crisis and the war-on-drugs were flawed and failed measures to ensure public safety. The sole purpose of DULF is to provide clean, safe, and tested drugs that could and should be provided in stores like how liquor, ci******es, and recently ma*****na are sold. Furthermore, DULF advocates for the taxation on the substances to be used towards recovery programs, addiction services, and healthcare although, at this moment in time, it is only a utopian ideology far out of reach from reality.

‘’We’re just sick of it. We’re sick of our friends dying’’ was what Jeremey Kalicum said during a PowerPoint presentation on zoom with the ‘Moms stop the harm’, a group of mothers who lost their children due to the opioid crisis. Furthermore explaining how their children's death is a result of fentanyl being mixed in with other substances like m**h, he**in, co***ne, and ketamine, which led to the group standing in solidarity with DULF during their free distribution of narcotics. This is the way how DULF currently conducts their protests, by purchasing a supply of drugs from the deep web, testing the cleanliness themselves, and distributing them among the majority of users. One might wonder why the organizers are not yet arrested for distributing narcotics among the masses, according to the Vancouver police department, certain illegal activities are permissible if done under the confines of protest, It is a loophole with a terrifying black cloud hanger over it.

Murder or Self-Defense?; The Kyle Rittenhouse trial

Kenosha, Wisconsin - Friday, November 19, Kyle Rittenhouse, a minor who murdered two and injured one during a protest for racial justice, got acquitted of all five charges after Judge Schroedinger found Mr. Rittenhouse not guilty. All five charges, including Intentional homicide, Attempted intentional homicide, and reckless homicide, all to the first degree [1] were deemed to be self-defense according to the speculated right-wing leaning judge, Bruce Schroeder.

Kyle Rittenhouse took to the streets of Kenosha with a loaded assault rifle earlier in 2020 to, according to Rittenhouse himself, provide medical assistance while protecting the private properties of local businesses. The state prosecutor, Thomas Binger, argues that Rittenhouse placed himself in jeopardy by making careless decisions in succession each other, which resulted in the death of two individuals. The decisions in question hint toward the fact that Rittenhouse purposely armed himself, stayed past curfew, and therefore was the only person present with the motive to shoot and injure protestors. This becomes especially apparent when Rittenhouse stated on video that he would like to shoot a shoplifter. Which the judge, in hindsight, would’ve wanted to be dismissed as evidence in the trial [2] [3]

The trial began on the first of November, lasting all the way through to the nineteenth. The prosecutor stated early on that the self-defense case was strong because of the Wisconsin laws for self-defense which states; an individual is allowed to use deadly force if they are at impending risk. [2] This might have resulted in the no-guilty verdict, but the facts lean towards a more sinister outcome, that the paradigm of bringing a deadly firearm to a protest, murdering two individuals, will lead to no percussions. [4]

The Democratic party is a dead end for the socialist left; here’s why.

Biden’s return into the oval office was for many a sign of relief, a president which labeled himself ‘’The most pro-union president in U.S. history’’ would finally bring equality among the working class while actively bringing change to the many issues our globe faces today. Although, this is further from the truth than one might think with recent polls being as low as 38% to show, and here is why.

Biden’s ‘’Build Back Better’’ agenda, although a long way from praise, showed genuine progress towards socialist ideals only to be met with scrutiny when it was cut from $6 Trillion to a meager $1.9 Trillion. Alongside the cut for funding came limitations on programs such as the clean energy performance plan, which successfully removed after Exxon, a company trading in oil and gas, persuaded corporate democrats in the senate.

The act of Exxon lobbying democrats to remove the clean energy performance plan is exactly why the democratic party is at a stalemate for progressive ideals. The party allows affluent benefactors to influence the internal fabrics and decide for whom they are concerned. It becomes especially apparent when AOC attempts to gain a spot on the Energy & Commerce committee only to be outdone by Kathleen Rice who happens to be a corporate democrat. It is important to note that AOC is the most outspoken party member on climate and healthcare reform but her socialist ideals symbolise a hazard to corporate backers.

The democratic party being faithful to the politics of corporate U.S.A makes it ineffective for socialist to push an agenda benefiting the current working class. Luckily, the approval for a third party on the progressive left is currently at 60%, allowing for a genuine working party to form. Would you support a third party? Let us know!
