Numbers of the Year

My workaholic side reminds me there are still 5 days left in the year—plenty of time to get more done. But for now, I’m excited to reflect on what I’ve achieved as a designer this year.

This year brought:
✨ Countless projects,
✨ A 10x boost in professional growth,
✨ Tough challenges and rewarding wins,
✨ Incredible clients, and
✨ Endless opportunities to grow.

Looking back, this year wasn’t easy—it tested me in every way. It completely reshaped how I see a designer’s career and reminded me how much mindset and self-belief shape our paths.

There were 100 moments where I felt like giving up. And yet, I kept going. That persistence is why I have numbers and stories to share today.

From redesigning existing interfaces to creating a display for a top US health company—and even seeing my work implemented on leading health devices in China—it’s been a year of milestones.

To sum it up: I’ve leveled up this year, and I’m ready to tackle the next one.

Wishing all designers (and everyone else) a successful and inspiring new year. I hope to continue being a resource and support for my clients, friends, and peers in the year ahead. Let’s make it count! 🫶🏻

Redesigning Cadoo was all about simplicity and impact. Cadoo, a game-changer in the fitness app space, incentivizes fitness with a clever twist—users stake money on meeting their fitness goals. Launched in 2018 and fueled by $1.5 million in seed funding, Cadoo has continually evolved, now offering both public and private challenges to keep things interesting and personal.

In redesigning Cadoo, my focus was on clarity and usability. The goal was to make every interaction within the app feel intuitive and rewarding, encouraging more users to engage not just with the app, but with their fitness goals. By integrating seamlessly with popular trackers like Strava, Fitbit, and Apple Health, we ensured that Cadoo was not just a standalone app but a part of a larger fitness ecosystem.

The new design has been a key player in Cadoo’s growth, helping to expand its community and strengthen its engagement. It’s a testament to how the right UI/UX can elevate an app from functional to indispensable, turning routine actions into engaging experiences. This is the power of design.
