icle written by Prince Damrongrajanubhab that, when King Ramkhamhaeng, the great king of Sukhothai era, had visited to China in 1330 B.C. He brought the prince of Chinese potter back for installing kiln as Sawankholok. Hence, glazed ceramic ware become known as Sangkhalok and it was produced in huge quantities in Sukhothai.
