You should think differently to make them buy.

Think about what actually moves a person from scrolling to deciding.

It starts with a feeling they already carry. A trigger that lives inside them long before they find your content. Then a small action that feels safe enough to take. Then something that surprises them just enough to stay. Then a moment where they put something of themselves into what you are building. And then it begins again.

This is The Hook Cycle. Four stages that work together or not at all. Most coaches & brands are strong in one or two. But converting content needs all four, in the right order, with the right intention.

The gap is almost always one missing link in your cycle.

I remember the exact feeling. Scrolling through Instagram, one account after another. And somewhere in the middle of that scroll, something felt louder and louder everyday. Because it was all starting to sound the same.

Same hooks. Same formats. Same captions that sounded inspired but felt like they came from the same place. Honestly? Yes, they did.

The internet had been teaching me that you find what went viral, study the structure, make your own version of it. And the problem is, when everyone follows the same advice, everyone starts to sound like everyone else.

And the people who lose the most from this are personal growth coaches, life coaches, and wellness brands. The ones whose entire work is about human transformation, genuine connection, and real growth. The ones who should sound the most like themselves online. They were the ones disappearing into the loud voices, even were not realizing it.

So I started asking a different question, "What actually makes someone feel seen?". The answer was always a specific human voice, with enough patience to let trust build naturally.

Most coaches I speak to aren't struggling because they don't show up. They're struggling because showing up consistently is not the same as being found.

There is a difference between content that fills a feed and content that makes one specific person stop mid-scroll and feel that she/he already understands me.

That difference has nothing to do with how often you post. Nothing to do with trending audio or viral hooks or performing a version of yourself that gets attention but attracts the wrong room.

It has everything to do with whether your content sounds so specifically like you that the right person recognizes you before she even knows your name. That's what converts. Not volume. Not noise. Not begging for attention.

Truth: told in your own voice, to one specific person, with enough consistency to be trusted.

Most coaches I speak to are doing everything right. Showing up. Writing carefully. Posting consistently. And still, nothing moves.

In almost every case, the problem isn't strategy. It isn't the algorithm. It isn't even the content. It's the direction the words are pointing.

When your content talks about you, your audience stays on the outside looking in.
When your content talks to them, they feel like you already know them.

And a person who feels known doesn't need much convincing. I saw this shift happen in real time with a coach I worked with recently.
