🚧 Roadworks begin (again) around Chiang Mai’s Old City moat

Chiang Mai Municipality has begun resurfacing the road around the moat, covering Ku Hueng Corner → Hua Lin Corner → Si Phum Corner (outer side).

Work started today, 24th August, with the existing road surface being removed section by section, beginning at Ku Hueng Corner towards Hua Lin Corner. Each section will cover approximately 500 metres.

🛣️ New asphalt surfacing is scheduled to begin 25th August, with the project expected to be completed by November 2026.

If you’re driving around the Old City, plan ahead, allow extra time and take care around the work zones. 🚗⚠️
