Bazı şeyler var…
Beden hâlâ gençliğe tutunmak isterken,
zihin çoktan suskun bir olgunluğun kıyısına yanaşıyor.
Acemlerin dediği gibi: “Yaşlandıkça bilgeleşirsin.”

İnsan, bazı yıllarda sadece yaşamaz;
kim gerçekten orada, kim yalnızca ses yapıyormuş, hepsi ayan beyan olur.
Zaman, gerçeklerle sahneleri ayırır.

Ama bu yaştan sonra dönüp bakınca anlıyorum ki:
Bilinmek, anlaşılmak ya da yanında olunmak…
Bazen yalnızca küçük bir ayrıntıdan ibaret.

Bugün takvimde hafif bir kıvrım var.
Yüreği benimle olan hisseder.
Diğerleri içinse…
Bu sadece sıradan bir gün.

There are years when we do more than merely live —
we begin to see who is truly present,
and who was only making noise.

And now, at this age, I see it clearly:
To be known, to be understood, to be accompanied…
Sometimes, these are nothing more than details.

Today, there’s a subtle fold in the calendar.
Those whose hearts are with me will feel it.
For the rest…
It’s just another ordinary day.

Her gün bir sokak hayvanı daha can çekişerek ölüyor.
Bir kedi, bir köpek değil; bir can.
Bir göz, bir nefes, bir korku…
Ve biz hâlâ “neden böyleyiz” sorusunun cevabını arıyoruz.

Toplumun vicdanı bunu reddediyor ama hukuk, bu acının karşısında sus pus.
Çünkü yasa hâlâ “mal” diyor bu canlara; hâlâ “değer biçilemez” demiyor.
Organize kötülük grupları, sistemli şekilde bu canlıları hedef gösteriyor.
Sosyal medyada nefret saçıyor, sokakta ölüm kusuyor.

Bu bir sapkınlık değil sadece; bu bir organize suçtur.
Ve bu suça göz yuman, görmezden gelen herkes bir gün kendi vicdanıyla yargılanacaktır.
Bir millet, en zayıfına gösterdiği merhametle ölçülür.
Biz sokak hayvanlarını koruyamazsak, birbirimizi nasıl koruyacağız?

Bu topraklarda merhamet kurumuşsa, hiçbir yasa bizi insan yapamaz.
Susmak, bu vahşetin suç ortağı olmaktır.
Artık ses çıkarın; bu sessiz çığlıkları siz duymazsanız, bir gün çocuklarınızın çığlıkları da duyulmaz olacak.

Every day, another stray animal dies in agony.
Not just a cat or a dog — a life.
A pair of eyes, a breath, a trembling fear…
And still, we ask ourselves, “Why are we like this?”

The conscience of society rejects this, but the law remains silent in the face of such cruelty.
Because the law still calls them “property” — not “priceless lives.”
Organized groups of cruelty systematically target these living beings.
They spread hate online and spill blood in the streets.

This isn’t just deviance — it’s organized crime.
And those who turn a blind eye to it will one day be judged by their own conscience.
A nation is measured by the mercy it shows to its weakest.
If we can’t protect stray animals, how will we protect each other?

If compassion has dried up on these lands, no law can make us human again.
To remain silent is to be complicit in this brutality.
Speak up — if you don’t hear their silent screams today, your children’s cries may go unheard tomorrow.
