The legend of one of our registered brands -DEFNE- which is known as -DAPHNE- in Greek mythology. When Apollo was close to catch DAPHNE, she begged to the God of Sea "Peneus" who is also her father, to save her. Peneus transformed her into a laurel in order save from the love of Apollo. The legend says that when she transformed into a laurel her heart was still beating.

Yunan mitolojisinde geçen -DAPHNE- Türkiye de bilinen adıyla -DEFNE- nin efsanesi. Defne Apollo'dan kaçamayacağını anlar ve Deniz Tanrısı olan babası Peneustan yardım ister. Peneus kızı Defneyi defne ağacına dönüştürür. Efsaneye göre dönüşüm tamamlandığında Defne'nin kalbi atmaya devam ediyordu.

Saha Group's brand "Defne" - Daphne este o nimfă din mitologia greacă.
