In Memory of the late Mr. Rawlins Boodan 23/03/1954 - 22/09/2016
Mr. Rawlins Boodan attended Presentation College in Chaguanas then later joined the teaching service as an assistant teacher 2 stationed at Las Cuevas Government School. He later attended Valsayn Teachers College, John Donaldson Technical College studying graphic design and mass communication at UWI.
In 1979 he joined the Trinidad Express as a layout artist in the Advertising Department. In 1981 he moved over to Atlas Advertising as a graphic artist. After spending 10 years there he joined Hernandez/Foote Cone and Belding as Art Director, H/FCB an associate of True North Communications of the USA, the world's largest advertising agency. He resigned from H/FCB as Creative Director in 1994.
In 1995, Rawlins started his own agency with one client, Country Pride flour which he took from 1% market share to over 60% in three years.
Rawlins Boodan a cultural activist in Central worked on some of the major local and International accounts such as Nabisco, G-Tech Latin America, Guardian Life, Angostura, Atlantic LNG, Republic Bank, The DLP of Barbados, Bank Of Baroda, Ministry of Health, National Petroleum Marketing Company, Nestle and CONCACAF.
