If you’ve been holding back on showing up, posting your content, or sharing your perspective because you’re afraid it might “offend” some in your audience, I need you to stop holding back.

As an experienced professional who has a wealth of knowledge, you shouldn’t be looking for approval at this stage of your life or career. You should only be concerned with alignment.

The audience that drives your brand and business forward, will be so aligned with your vision, that you will know their pain points, worries and frustrations almost like they’re your own. You’ll know it so well that the solution you have to offer them will be like music to their ears. Not only that, but they will also appreciate your personality.

They are not sitting in your audience looking for a reason to disagree with you. They are not looking to unfollow, unfriend, block, or take any other contentious action. For the people who are doing this thing, they probably weren’t going to buy anyway. Bid them adieu and goodbye.

A top voice isn’t worried about who wants to leave, only those who want to stay. Those who want to build a relationship and be part of their community. Only employees look for approval, but brand CEOs, they look for alignment.

Comedians and skit based content seems to be winning the Caribbean content game.
