Retsilla & Alleinad LTD is a Creative Publishing, Cultural Asset Production and Creative Consulting enterprise. The Company was co-founded by Daniella Maraj and Allister Raghunanan; the former an Ideation Consultant and Entrepreneur and the latter a Commercial Pilot and Venture Capitalist. The Company was incorporated in 2013 in Trinidad and Tobago. What we do

Creative Publishing
With publications like The Culturists periodical, The Artist and Artisan Directory and The Map of TnT’s Creative and Cultural Industries under our publishing belt, our aim is to continuously develop published material, whether for our own purposes or work that is commissioned by others, that will add to the National Information Archive of TnT and create new opportunities to develop the Creative and Cultural Industries. In 2013, our Company published Trinidad and Tobago’s first official word-play game, Doh Say Dat. The publishing of the Doh Say Dat series marked a new era in TnT for commodifying and exporting culture to the domestic, diaspora and international market. In 2014, the Company was contracted by Creative Teaching and Innovant Design Communication LTD to work on a Creative Learning Kit for Primary School students. My Land: Adventures around Trinidad and Tobago was the successful result (see Creative Consultancy for more information). Published Works to date:

Cultural Asset Production
The Cultural Asset Production area of Retsilla and Alleinad LTD is the Company’s backbone. This key area is responsible for producing assets that contribute to:
• Growing the cultural archive in TnT for use in the tourism industry
• Developing Tourism products that contribute to the overall Tourism Product
• Developing the Creative Economy through cultural asset production
• Exploring unique ways of commodifying Culture for creative industry commerce
• Exporting commercially viable cultural commodities to domestic, diaspora and international markets
• Creating linkages among industries (Start-ups, Printing & Packaging, Corporate etc)
• Provide Innovations that keep facilitating industries competitive in manufacturing and production (outsourcing stifles local manufacturers’ ability to upgrade or offer services that can facilitate innovative ideas)
• Encourage innovation within the creative industries (move beyond music, fetes/events and Festivals like carnival)
• Pioneer Creative Business that encourages Start-ups and Entrepreneurs to delve in the creative industries
• Encourage National Policy Development and Incentives for agents operating within the creative industries, specifically entrepreneurs seeking to manufacture locally

The Doh Say Dat social media channels have grown exponentially in just one year with over 11,000 likes on Facebook and an overall 80% engagement metric. The market research yielded in the year Doh Say Dat has been in the consumer market has ensured us that there is a demand for the game and similar commodities. 2015 will see the expansion of the Doh Say Dat product line with Doh Say Dat Sport and Doh Say Dat Music editions. Creative Consultancy
We know good ideas. What’s more is that we know how to use good ideas in order to extract the most value out of them. Our Creative Consultancy team is experience in the area of ideation, development and project planning. When Natalie Smith, Founder of Creative Teaching, had an idea to develop a creative learning kit for primary school students, our Company was contacted to work on the Ideation, Content Curation, Content Creation and Business Development Model. The result was an amazing adventure book!
“My Land: Adventures around Trinidad and Tobago is purposed to take students from all three levels of the Primary School classification (Infants, Std 1-3 & Std 4-5) on an interactive journey throughout Trinidad and Tobago. Each chapter is a unique lesson plan that draws on at least one of the nine (9) core subject areas of the National Primary School Curriculum:
My Land’s Play Money is intended to introduce students to the various denominations found in Trinidad and Tobago’s currency schedule. The Play Money is to be used when the chapter reads “It’s time to Earn Money” and “Pay...” for a specific adventure in a particular chapter.”
