Students from Chaguanas North Secondary School who founded the Stop CyberbullyingTT non-profit organization aimed to address several forms of bullying in schools were invited to the held in Guyana.
Here they met with like minded young individuals and policymakers from around Caribbean who discussed measures and actions that can be implemented to reduce the prevalence of violence among young people as they participated in the " Deleting Bullying" panel
Most present were representatives from several organizations and governments in the region:
UNICEF UNICEF Eastern Caribbean USAID - US Agency for International Development CARICOM: Caribbean Community Caribbean Development Bank
who pledged their commitment to supporting youth initiatives geared towards crime and violence prevention.
Our students returned fired up about the 'AAA mandate' and ready to implement change and improvement in their school and the wider community.
Special thanks to the organizing team of USAID's Community, Family & Youth Resilience - CFYR Program the many others for their support and hospitality.
