Thunder Components Ltd. (Thunder) was founded in September 1971 in Taipei and has been manufacturing and exporting resistors for more than 50 years. Through effective communication with our customers and the development of strong, diverse sales channels, we have successfully delivered our products to dealers and distributors across the globe.
In 1991, Thunder expanded its operations to Guangzhou, China, establishing a new subsidiary, Thunder Technology Co., Ltd. This subsidiary is a professional resistor manufacturer specializing in a broad range of leaded resistors, including Carbon Film Resistors, Metal Film Resistors, Metal Oxide Film Resistors, Fusible Metal Film Resistors, Non-Inductive Wirewound Resistors, Thick Film Resistor Networks (SIP), and various other specialty products.
In 1998, Thunder entered the chip-resistor sector. In addition to standard thick-film and thin-film resistors, Thunder has focused on developing innovative specialty products such as ultra-low resistance, high-resistance, and high-precision resistors. Today, we successfully supply these advanced components to meet the unique and demanding requirements of our customers.
