遠傳電信搶攻聯網商機，今(27日)攜手上下游軟、硬體領域供應商等共46家合作夥伴，共同宣布成立遠傳電信「物聯網生態圈」，遠傳電信總經理李彬表示，遠傳為首家取得300萬物聯網專屬門號，積極布局5G及NB-IoT服務，並縮短NB-IoT商轉時程，帶給台灣物聯網產業更多元的應用服務。

遠傳電信NB-IoT網路技術已可廣泛應用於生活中，今天記者會活動現場展示正式商轉的成功範例，包含智慧路燈、智慧大樓、智慧號誌、機車聯網、智慧工廠及智慧醫療等六大應用服務。

研究機構 Gartner 預測 5年後，物聯網將每年替企業與個人節省共1兆美元的支出。遠傳表示，NB-IoT服務商轉初期，不僅已獲得經濟部工業局「亞洲‧矽谷試驗場域計畫」遴選參與桃園七大工業園區應用服務試作，同時更獲得台達電、Gogoro等數十家國內及國際大廠合作響應。

經濟部工業局主任秘書陳佩利表示，遠傳電信近年來與產、官、學合作推動發展物聯網電信服務的努力成果，打造全台工業園區智慧化發展的指標，未來更可將此淬鍊方案輸出國際，擴大本計畫成效。

遠傳電信企業暨國際事業群執行副總經理曾詩淵表示，明年將是台灣物聯網業務爆發成長的一年，遠傳積極號召橫跨軟硬體領域供應商等合作夥伴，打造上下游產業垂直整合、共生共榮的物聯網生態圈，針對企業客戶，遠傳依照不同傳輸需求(5MB、15MB及40MB)提供輕、重及勁量三種資費方案，每月月租費最低只要10元(5MB)，實現萬物聯網的普及時代。

Gogoro 營運長雷憶瑜表示，現在是車聯網當道的時代，Gogoro1系列與 Gogoro 2系列在遠傳全台近400家直營門市創下銷售佳績，在未來的攜手合作之下，透過智慧車聯網與雲端系統，將提供消費者更聰明的城市交通體驗。

根據資策會產業情報研究所(MIC)公布2018行動通訊產業九大發展趨勢，其中提及3GPP將提前於2017年12月完成5G NR NSA (4G核網+5G接取網)標準，可望降低營運商初期龐大的投入成本與風險，也促使5G大規模驗證和商用佈署得以提前於2019年開始。

遠傳表示，NB-IoT服務正式商轉，NB-IoT搭建在既有的網路覆蓋下，用移動通訊技術保障資料傳輸的安全性，架構在簡單的通訊模組，可大幅降低物聯網設備成本，加上低功耗特性，帶來長達數年的電池電力供應，及比現有4G網路提高更多的訊號增益，不但可以覆蓋全台並深入到地下室，徧遠地區及管道內，並可支援更多的設備同時接取，為各產業帶來無比大的商機及全新的商業模式，實現萬物串聯的時代。

遠傳表示，在700MHz商用頻段提供服務，現階段已完成部份大台北及桃園工業園區訊號覆蓋，預計2018年Q2前完成全台NB-IoT網路涵蓋，全面啟動物聯網新時代。

台達電發言人周志宏表示，台達電期待透過參與遠傳電信物聯網生態圈，為園區打造維運便利、可即時監控，且智慧節能的LED智慧路燈，一同為園區打造智慧物聯，往智慧城市邁進。

周志宏表示，台達LED路燈自2010年發展至今，累計已在全球各地安裝超過40萬盞，其中半數以上安裝在台灣，而可遠端監控的智慧路燈比例約佔10%，每年快速成長。

遠傳表示，全球已開發國家的4G市場已陸續出現飽和，各家電信業者也反應出高ARPU消費者比例已逐漸下降，遠傳率先在去年進場布局5G與NB-IoT服務，未來NB-IoT的連線和應用服務將會成為遠傳在物聯網的發展主力，預計至2020年，整體物聯網服務將為遠傳增加7000家以上企業用戶，門號數達300萬門，營收增加12億以上。

國家通訊傳播委員會(NCC)主任委員詹婷怡也出席記者會表示，今天NB-IOT服務即將正式商轉，引領台灣物聯網產業進入另一發展階段，持續落實數位生活。
